For so long, he didn't have much of a personality because he didn't feel heard or understood (and I don't mean to sound all granola and tie dye, but it's true!). The more I manage our rides and keep him "safe," the more his goofy side is starting to show. He now loves to lip my neck, arms, zippers, fence, hat, cross ties, Speedy, the reins, or whatever else crosses his path. It's as though he has finally woken up to the world and is allowing himself to experience things.

Not sure why Hemie would become more mouthy, but think about what you're doing with him lately. He might be frustrated, happier, etc. Or, one unchecked nibble simply led to the next one and he's developed a new habit. Hard to say. :0)Bakersfield Dressagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05571487914424695283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5371838582463916633.post-24594876467372288712014-07-12T21:34:13.916-07:002014-07-12T21:34:13.916-07:00Def ordered a new helmet! :) Can't pass up the...Def ordered a new helmet! :) Can't pass up the deals!Karleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09196824979284472867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5371838582463916633.post-89556996674843365282014-07-11T19:31:20.794-07:002014-07-11T19:31:20.794-07:00It could be anything from a form of stressing to e...It could be anything from a form of stressing to entertaining himself to a minor physical issue. It might be just that he is working harder and could possibly be a little body sore or is anticipating the ride. It's also possible that I am paranoid due to working at the track and usually finding a change in behaviir to be the first sign of an issue with all of the extremely sensitive TBs, so don't let me freak you out. I love the dressage diagram :)Jodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16560432669562291616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5371838582463916633.post-44181122282954173582014-07-11T19:19:44.950-07:002014-07-11T19:19:44.950-07:00Hmm.
